Capillary DNA Sequencing & Genotyping
Overview
The GGF provides DNA sequencing for single tube products and 96 or 384 well plates. The GGF maintains an Applied Biosystems 3730xl 96-capillary DNA Analyzer for Sanger sequencing and fragment analysis. This sequencer can run 12 to 24 96-well plates per day. Users can choose to submit individual DNA samples or plates (96 or 384 well) of products that are ready to be sequenced or choose to do the cycle sequencing reaction themselves and we will process the “Ready-to-Run” plates on the 3730xl. All data are delivered via secure ftp. Users are assigned password protected folders. All data resides within the PI’s folder, however independent subfolders can be obtained if requested.
